This work consists of the creation of an automatic feeder for poultry house furnaces through indirect heating using wood chips and pellets biomass as a means of fuel creating the ideal temperature for birds. Designed with a six hour silo autonomy, it was sought to promote improvements in the aviculturist working conditions assisting their activities. Together with the automatic feeder, this system provides the furnace power programmed control without any waste or lack of material, so the operator can perform many other functions, since for a rigorous and cautious management poultry, it’s necessary for the producer to be aware of all the established details and procedures. Mainly on cold days an extremely careful is required, not to lack material for burning, otherwise there will be sudden changes in temperature inside the aviary which is extremely harmful for the birds. Primarily composed of a feed bin and a helical screw conveyor triggered by gear motor, the biomasses fall into an adapter that is attached to the furnace mouth, where they will be placed in the oven by the air force, since the adapter is composed by a fan activated at the right time of the furnace supply, and the operating time set by a digital timer. |
