Resumo: The present work a case study of a prototype for a cutting platform of a combine harvester, so we could prove what is the feasibility of installing increase the thread worm snail, conducting field tests and observing how the equipment is installed prototype works from the original attachment, also performing analysis on potential savings that the installation of increased worm thread will provide for the customer who left realizássemos this study in their agricultural machines and his estate as: what will change about preventive maintenance of colhedouras and how will the economic reflex when we compare the genuine structure with the modified regarding the performance at harvest and show that it is possible to change the opinion that it was feeling, since, the same with other farmers were complaints; because of losses which occur in the soybean crop hours. So one of the solutions was to make a small change in the current form of the thread of the worm snail platform to modify the way is driving harvested grain for the machine cleaning system; since it presents fingers in feed intake (Snail platform assembly) and causes breakage of grain, etc. This study comes with aims to show off the beneficial that will be achieved with the installation of increased worm cutting deck snail kit, based on the results collected in the field, and analyzing data already proven by agencies for the production area.
