The understanding of a machining manufacturing process involves the study of phenomena chip formation, cutting forces, surface quality of the machined material, tool wear mechanisms and influence of cutting parameters and the type of material used on these variables. In this context, the main objective of our work is to compare roughness of materials SAE 1045 and SAE 8620, to analyze the roughness parameters of each type of material so as to understand where they are better used. |
