In this project, I interviewed women on their stories with a focus on the trajectory of their self-esteem, in order to promote visibility on this topic and the problems attached to it. My objective is not to make judgement of their opinions and/or actions, but to raise questions about beliefs that we somehow naturalized into our society through time. I hope to bring their value into light through a visual project in the form of a book, which includes artistic interpretations and authoral photography, and that it shows the many trajectories self-esteem can tread and how each of them are equally valid and equally important. |
