Photography is an important tool to help create memories. In Brazil, there are more than 34 thousand children waiting for adoption, while sheltering in temporary homes. The objective of this academic work was to carry out a photographic project with the children sheltered by Lar Moisés, including the making of a custom scrapbook. The children living at the foster home/Lar Moisés are residents of the city of Curitiba, aged between 02 and 13 years old. The methodology used was based on the experiences of several photographers, specialized in children’s photography. From the analysis of the theoretical framework, there was an adaptation to the reality of the selected children. After the photo capture process, the scrapbook was made with the children where everyone can paste the photos as desired, using shapes, illustrations and stickers. This collaborative dynamic provided the children self-knowledge and a feeling of ownership of friends’ records. With the project, it was possible to identify all the care the children had with the albums, with the customization and details. |
