Resumo: In a scenario where there is an attempt to optimize production processes, monitoring the consumption and quality of electricity are essential. The power factor is an indicator of the quality of consumption, with a low power factor indicating that the energy consumed is being poorly used and causing problems for both the distributor and the consumer. Aiming at monitoring these problems, this work proposes the development of a system capable of measuring active and reactive powers in single-phase, twophase and three-phase loads, as well as the power factor in three-phase systems with linear and non-linear loads. The device comprises a microcontroller, non-invasive current sensors, voltage acquisition transformers, signal conditioning circuits and a module for storing data on a memory card. Both power and power factor are calculated using numerical methods. After mounting on a printed circuit board, the device was used to perform measurements on single-phase, two-phase and three-phase threeand four-wire circuits. The results obtained were compared with theoretical values and the results were considered satisfactory. The biggest discrepancies were found in the inductive circuit with a power factor error of 5.65% and in the non-linear circuit with a power factor error of 4.17%.
