The work presents an evaluation of the conformity of the installations of protection systems against lightning and grounding in relation to Brazilian standards. Using a methodology that through evaluations through surveys, so that it is possible to identify flaws and conformities and in the installations in an alcohol distillery, to the systems of protection against atmospheric discharges of the industry. For effective inspection, it is necessary, in advance, a thorough study of the NBR 5419 standard. As its importance is not only the safety of the people who are there daily, being local workers or visitors who are in and around the distillery, as well as equipment, it is indispensable to periodically inspect such facilities, observing their state of conservation and adaptations to the Brazilian standard, in order to present irregularities, their consequences, and finally, promote recommendations and proposals for adaptation, aiming at a cost / benefit ratio, in order to avoid the occurrence of accidents in these facilities. |
