The research was carried out between October 2017 and February 2018, in particular property located in the São Luiz do Chopim, in the city of Dois Vizinhos - PR. Were Used 18 crossbred cows (Holstein x Jersey), divided into two treatments according to the order of lactation, being treatment consisting in primiparous and multiparous another per. The microclimatic variables recorded were the air temperature, black globe temperature, relative humidity and wind speed. For the behavioral analysis was used an ethogram that allowed the visualization of the animals in the course of 10 minutes in an interval of 30 minutes during 24 hours. The data regarding thermal comfort indices and behavior were analyzed through bayesian inference, using the software R. With respect to the thermal comfort indices, it was observedthat the compost shed barn offers good thermal conditions for animals. Os elementos como temperatura, umidade relativa, radiação e ventilação, influenciam diretamente o conforto e o comportamento dos animais, sendo que quando não há conformidade na climatização do galpão, o potencial produtivo desses animais será prejudicado. Desta forma objetivou-se por meio desse trabalho avaliar a influência do ambiente térmico em um galpão compost barn sob os aspectos comportamentais e fisiológicos de vacas leiteiras. A pesquisa foi realizada entre outubro de 2017 a fevereiro de 2018, em propriedade particular localizada na comunidade São Luiz do Chopim, na cidade de Dois Vizinhos - PR. Foram utilizadas 18 vacas mestiças (Holandês X Jersey), separado em dois tratamentos conforme a ordem de lactação, sendo um tratamento constituído por primíparase o outro por multíparas. As variáveis microclimáticas verificadas foram a temperatura do ar, temperatura do globo negro, umidade relativa do ar e velocidade do vento. Para a análise comportamental foi utilizado um etograma que permitiu a visualização dos animais no decorrer de 10 minutos em um intervalo de 30 minutos durante 24 horas. Os dados referentes aos índices de conforto térmico e comportamento foram analisados através da inferência bayesiana, utilizando o software R. Com relação aos índices de conforto térmico, foi observado que o galpão compost barn oferece boas condições térmicas para os animais. Para o comportamento animal, houve diferença entre os tratamentos para os comportamentos de comer, ingerir água, e de ócio deitado, o que indica que tal fato se deu pelo arranjo social, sendo que as vacas multíparas exercem dominância sobre as vacas primíparas.
