The purpose of this work is to make a study about projective geometry and approach the multiple view reconstruction problem. Specifcally the reconstruction of a threedimensional scene using initially two two-dimensional pictures until the general case. For this to be accomplished, it’s necessary to fnd the common key points in diferent points of view, in order to establish a projective transformation between these points, allowing for a reconstruction of the intrinsic geometry of the scene. The principles of computer graphics and computer vision will also be studied in addition of the study of the main theorems and defnitions of afne and projective geometry to produce a model capable of supporting the produced applications. The main algorithms referring to the main problem were implemented, besides multiple experiments using the constructed theory to the given time. Diferent virtual camera models were studied and implemented. |
