With the expansion in the cultivation of perennial crops, there is a need for special and more efficient monitoring in relation to the productivity and management of these crops, which is usually carried out manually, especially when the destination is “in-natura” consumption. Thus, the present study was carried out in order to develop a hardware device and software that allow the collection, storage and interpretation of harvest data to be carried out and to generate productivity maps in perennial crops. To understand the complexity of handling this type of crop, as well as to evaluate the proposed system, two experimental areas were used, cultivated with apples, located in the city of Vacaria/RS. The apple productivity data were collected using the hardware device built for this purpose and stored in a digital file in text format, during the apple tree harvesting process. After collecting data in the field, the developed system allows the import of the obtained data, aiming at the interpretation of the same and the generation of productivity maps. Such technological resources support the producer to better manage his inputs in a localized way, optimize his human resources, reduce costs, increase productivity and improve the quality of his production, thus obtaining a better profitability. |
