Resumo: This work details the development of hardware, firmware, and software solution for the access control of mega-events. Mega-events are those that require integration between various sectors, such as the ticket sales sector, which accounts for public and income collected; the information technology sector, which needs data to assess whether there is any failure in the system and the security sector, which manages tickets, through codes, to bar or not the entry of participants. Aware of these requirements, a product was proposed that had several functionalities, supplying the aforementioned needs, through the development of software for viewing access statistics, in addition to providing a detailed log for investigation. The equipment to be designed consists of a three-armed roulette ratchet, equipped with an Ethernet connection to an internal network, which exchanges data with the proposed software. There is also the exclusively offline mode, in case there is a change in connectivity during the event, something relatively common in some stages observed. Additionally, a cloud-based turnstile rental system will also be available to satisfy temporary customer demand. This turnstile has been continuously developed since 2017 and in 2019 it was completely restructured, with a new mechanical and electronic part. The firmware was modified again in 2020/2021, and all changes and specifications are detailed in the text. The project refers to the newest version of the product, which is in an operational state and specifies all the hardware used, in addition to the firmware flowchart.
