Resumo: Incremental innovation plays a very important role considering the competitiveness that exists between organizations. Several methods have been proposed to encourage incremental innovation, such as, for example, the use of the suggestion box proposed in the Toyota quality model. One of the ways to implement incremental innovation is through the management of employee ideas, aiming at improving organizational and production processes. The idea suggestion program consists of six stages and two of them presented points that impacted the program, namely the evaluation and implementation of ideas. In general, this impact is due to the use of inadequate tools, the lack of effective communication between the team and the lack of planning of actions. The objective of the study was to propose improvements in the stages of evaluation and implementation of ideas recently implemented in the company. The company was suggested to use Kanban agile, this method helps to optimize the workflow, adapt to changes and focus on collaboration among team members. The use of this agile tool, Microsoft Planner, provided an improvement in the performance of the program, considerably reducing the time for evaluating ideas. A new process consisting of eight steps was also suggested. The combination of all these improvement actions implemented provided an improvement in the performance and functioning of the program.
