The dynamism of everyday life increasingly demands that people move or transport goods by road, whether in Brazil or worldwide. Along with this, poor road planning, lack of signage, the use of alcohol by road users and other factors can lead to an aggravation and increase in road accidents. In this way, considering that road accidents do not happen by chance, the present work aims to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the trampling that occurred on federal highways present in the state of Paraná in the years 2019, 2020 and 2021. The technique used is composed by a spatial analysis of density, classification and correlation with the types of environments, a method used for its simplicity of analysis of data not linked to values, but to the densification of the occurrences. The work focused on pedestrian accidents on federal highways located in urban and rural areas, so that the results achieved in spatial distribution of the frequency of accidents can subsidize and contribute to a better management of highways, as well as to reduce road accidents in the most identified critics. Thus, it was identified that most of the pedestrian accidents occurred, in the analyzed period, in an urban context and that small municipalities, with less than 25 thousand inhabitants, deserve special attention, since they become more expressive when comparing the occurrences. with the municipal population. |
