Resumo: Family farming has the capacity for local and regional development, where the activities carried out are intended for subsistence or commercialization. Families generally combine agricultural income and non-agricultural income for the maintenance of establishments and the search for better living conditions and access to basic products. Productive diversification is also seen as an important strategy for its reproduction. The present work aims to characterize the production systems adopted in the sampled farmers, using productive and economic data obtained in each system, such as the Agricultural Income obtained by useful agricultural area and to verify trends of specialization or diversification to obtain it. Like wise, verify factors that have an influence on the agricultural income of these production units. The research was carried out in the microregion of Dois Vizinhos, 43 properties were analyzed which represented a sample of the production systems of the microregion. The properties studied are part of a database of the Universidade tecnológica Federal doParaná, campus Dois Vizinhos, developed from studies carried out by the Rural Property Planning Discipline, in partnership with IDR-Paraná, regional Dois Vizinhos during the years of 2017 to 2020 in five municipalities in the region. The data collection was done through a semi-structured questionnaire validated by Perondi (2007). The average of the Gross Product shows that the dairy activity generated a superior result than the other activities. Diversified production systems, such as the olericulture associated with milk or farming and other activities such as eggs, showed a greater RA /UTHagr. The results for the variable RA/ha from the SAU, was higher in the diversified system with olericulture with milk or crops, eggs. Through this work we observed that the diversified UPAs presented higher RA UTHagr and RA ha from the SAU.
