In recent times, due to the SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic, there was a need to transfer teaching from face-to-face to remote, which generated numerous difficulties dueto the scarcity of tools that mainly made the practices viable. pedagogical. In this work, it was proposed the development of a new tool to assist in the teaching of Science and Biology, in the area of Zoology. Given this urgency of digital teaching methodologies, websites are created, which are great tools to access knowledge from both students and the community in general. The objective of this work was to develop a digital resource of vertebrate skeletons and skulls, especially birds and mammals, which are exhibited at the Zoology and Entomology Teaching Laboratory of the Federal Technological University of Paraná, in the city of Dois Vizinhos-PR. The website was created through the Wix platform and houses a series of images of the species, together with taxonomic, ecological, morphological information and records of animals in nature. The digital resource consists of 20 species of birds, 20 species of mammals and 1 species of reptile. There are also menus that describe the project's trajectory so far and make it possible to schedule visits to the in-person collection. Finally, there is a part dedicated to activities and lesson plans, which aims to help teachers in their classes on this topic. In addition to being an excellent teaching tool, it can be considered a digital museum, where visitors can access the collection at any time of the day, from the comfort of their own home and free of charge. The website is completely self-explanatory and will add knowledge from reliable sources of literature, being an innovative methodology in times when ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) are increasingly present in our daily lives. |
