With the use of bibliographic review in research platforms, it is found that strategies aimed at the application of active methodologies, it is essential to reflect on how these methodologiescan really favor student engagement, as well as the possibilities of integrating these proposals to the curriculum. The active methodologies they seem to be interesting to develop clinical reasoning skills in undergraduate students in Occupational Therapy, being relevant to the courses of creating situations and supporting students to develop clinical reasoning and the development of clinical and practical skills. It is concluded that the implementation of Active Methodologies still needs more studies in relation to the graduation of Occupational Therapy and the need for more studies to evaluate the results of using these methodologies in educational institutions is already consolidated.
