Resumo: The objective of this work is to evaluate the interference of potassium in the development of the soybean crop, for different applied amounts and forms of application of this nutrient, in order to determine the most efficient dose for the development and yield of the crop. The experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design, with plots of 4 x 5 meters. Using doses of 0, 50, 100, 150, 200 kg K per hectare, using as K source the potassium chloride (60% K), complementing the nutrition of the crop using 23% phosphate fertilizer. Deposits were applied to the grooves by means of a plantation and by the haul, applied manually, conducting in a bifactorial manner, with randomized blocks. It was evaluated the components of yield and K accumulation as well as nutrient dynamics in the soil system. The variations of applied doses interfered positively with respect to the productivity of the soybean crop, as well as the increase of K in the grain, with the best response being 100 kg per hectare of K applied for the development of the crop and maintenance of K in the system ground.
