Resumo: For agriculture, fungi and insects have great acuity, so it should be aware of the taxonomy and performance of these, which may generate damage, can also be extremely important regarding the biological control of some pest in the local culture. The objective was to collect and isolate the fungus Pestalotia sp. for biological control, test the compatibility for the control of phytopathogenic fungi of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Fusarium sp., Botrytis sp. andColletotrichum sp.. The experiments were carried out in a laboratory of the Federal Technological University of Paraná, two neighboring campus, carried out in two stages, the first being the extraction of secondary metabolites from Pestalotia sp. testing its activity on Sclerotinia Scletotiorum, and the second stage, the performance of the antagonistic test using the fungus Pestalotia sp. Testing its antibiotic activity on Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and Fusarium sp, Botrytis sp. and Colletotrichum sp.. It concludes with the accomplishment of this study that two treatments resulting from the extraction of metabolites had efficiency in the reduction of Sclerotinia scletotiorum; In the antagonistic test, the fungus Colletotrichum sp. presented its percentage value of growth inhibition higher than the others.
