Resumo: This article aims to investigate how the topic of mediation of literary reading is being approached, in the context of university libraries, within the scope of the Brazilian Congress of Library Science, Documentation and Information Science. As specific objectives, it was intended: to identify works on reading mediation in university libraries in the annuals of the 2017 and 2019 editions of CBBD; to analyze the reading mediation actions described in the identified works. To this end, a bibliographic surveywas carried out on the Portal of the Brazilian Federation of Associations of Librarians, Information Scientists and Institutions, which retrieved a total of 18 works on mediation of literary reading in university libraries. The works were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Through content analysis, three categories of analysis were listed: Children and young people, Bibliotherapy and Reading spaces.
