Resumo: The amorphous alloys show superior properties in comparison with crystalline metals, especially in corrosion and abrasion resistance, however, these materials have limitations due to the low plasticity. Rejuvenation processes have been developed to make these amorphous metals more ductile in an attempt to make possible for a wider range of applications. Therefore, the objective of this work was the development of a theoretical database about rejuvenation in titanium-based amorphous alloys, more specifically about the cryogenic thermal cycling rejuvenation method. In addition, obtain and evaluate the database from the literature in search for correlations and trends to better explain this cryogenic treatment. For this goal, data were collected regarding the mechanical and thermal properties of titanium-based bulk metallic glasses reported in the literature, which were submitted to rejuvenation by cryogenic thermal cycling, and the data was organized in tables and graphs for analysis. It was concluded that rejuvenation by cryogenic thermal cycling is efficient for increasing plasticity, and although the authors used different experimental variables and also the chemical compositions of the alloys were different, it was possible to make a comparative analysis that showed similar behavior among the studies. In addition, it was shown how the particularities of the processes affected the results.
