We’re living in the transition from a disciplinar society to an accomplishment one. This capitalist development moment increases the suffering caused by the working routine, exhausting people even earlier and causing diseases like Burnout. This article has the intention of understanding the causes and the determinations of Burnout in college students from Brazil. We started from a philosophic analysis, then we looked for connections with the Social Determination of Health-Disease theory and the empiric Brazilian Burnout articles. We found a lot of determinants that try to explain these illnesses and also an absence in the analysis of these determinants in a general theory, evinced in the non-attendance of concepts like incomes and breed on the empiric investigation. |
