Industrial automation is continuously evolving and is accompanied by the need for communication between devices. Companies invest in information systems to achieve operational excellence in productivity, efficiency and agility. In this scenario, the Internet of Things is increasingly present as a basic idea of interaction among a variety of objects, which have addressing to achieve common goals. As a consequence, future economic development opportunities are highlighted by combining popular demand with advances in technology. This paper presents the process of machine integration carried out in a powder product packaging production line, whose the objective is to provide production data to a database, under conditions defined by the company, for management and manufacturing software to process and make them available for monitoring industrial process performance via the Internet. With the integrated line, production can be tracked in real time, anywhere with Internet access, and various analyzes are made possible by operators and the company’s management area. |
