It is essential to maintain and care for these trees, thus preserving all these benefits. The present study aimed to identify the species present in the urban afforestation of two neighborhoods and a district of the municipality of Missal-PR. For this, a qualitative-quantitative survey was carried out where the species present in the most tree-lined streets (with 10 or more individuals) of each location were identified. After the analysis was made if they were exotic or native species. In the survey, 445 individuals were registered, distributed in 31 species of 18 botanical families. Distributed as follows: 141 trees in the Portão Ocoy district, 167 trees in the Jardim Gramado district and 137 trees in the Renascer district. The most frequent species were Ligustrum lucidum (Japan Privet), in the Portão do Ocoy district; in Jardim Gramado, Licania tomentosa (Oiti) and in Renascer, Mangifera indica (Mangueira). Thus, the greatest predominance was of exotic species, distributed as follows: of the 22 species found, 50% were native species and 50% were exotic species in the Portão Ocoy district; of the 16 species found, 75% of exotic species and 25% of native species in the Jardim Gramado neighborhood and of the 15 species found, 53% of exotic species and 47% of native species in the Renascer neighborhood. Therefore, from the results obtained, improvements are suggested for the afforestation of the analyzed sites, mainly indicating native trees to be implemented. A arborização urbana é de fundamental importância, para manter a qualidade de vida da população, tendo em vista os inúmeros benefícios gerados, como o sombreamento, a melhoria do microclima, e a diminuição da poluição sonora entre muitos outros. Sendo essencial a manutenção e o cuidado dessas árvores, preservando assim todos esses benefícios. O presente estudo teve como objetivo identificar as espécies presentes na arborização urbana de dois bairros e um distrito do município de Missal-PR. Para isso foi realizado um levantamento qualiquantitativo onde identificou-se as espécies presentes nas ruas mais arborizadas (com 10 ou mais indivíduos) de cada local. Após foi feita a análise se eram espécies exóticas ou nativas. No levantamento foram registrados 445 indivíduos, distribuídos em 31 espécies de 18 famílias botânicas. Distribuídas da seguinte forma: 141 árvores no distrito do Portão Ocoy, 167 árvores no bairro Jardim Gramado e 137 árvores no bairro Renascer. As espécies mais frequentes foram, o Ligustrum lucidum (Alfeneiro do Japão), no distrito do Portão do Ocoy; no bairro Jardim Gramado a Licania tomentosa (Oiti) e no bairro Renascer a Mangifera indica (Mangueira). Desta forma a maior predominância foi de espécies exóticas ficando distribuída da seguinte maneira: das 22 espécies encontradas, 50% de espécies nativas e 50% de espécies exóticas distrito do Portão Ocoy; das 16 espécies encontradas, 75% espécies exóticas e 25% de espécies nativas no bairro Jardim Gramado e das 15 espécies encontradas, 53% espécies exóticas e 47% de espécies nativas no bairro Renascer.
