Time is a very important factor within industries, and unexpected downtime due to failures and defects are common, despite the execution of preventive maintenance on equipment. In order to minimize downtime in case of failures, a quick maintenance and the use of materials and an adequate methodology are essential, thus avoiding subsequent rework. The shafts are common components and of great importance for the operation of the machines, cost and time for the manufacture of a new shaft is high, thus this work seeks to analyze the recovery of surfaces depositing material on the part through welding with the coated electrodes E7018 and E6013, and analyzing which of them presents better results in terms of mechanical properties. |
