Resumo: In this work, the dimensioning of the landing and takeoff runway, in flexible, semirigid and rigid pavement, of the Regional Airport of Southwest Paraná project is addressed, using the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) dimensioning method published in the AC (Advisory Circular) 150/53206G, considering the technical data of the project. As the project is in progress, three alternative pavement structures for the Landing and Takeoff Runways (PPD) were analyzed, comparing the results of the sizing through a cost budget for the execution of each alternative based on the new tool made available by Infraero, Sinapi Airport. Based on the data considered for the dimensioning stage and results obtained after the budget of each alternative, it is concluded that a semirigid pavement structure would be the lowest cost option for the execution of the PPDs of the Regional Airport of Southwest of Paraná, with cost of implantation of R$ 4.496.182,33, 51,8% smaller compared with the rigid pavement that presented the highest value.
