It is commonly known that reinforced concrete structures suffer from pathological manifestations that affect them for multiple reasons, whether design errors, errors during the execution period or even the advanced age of the building. In the UTFPR – Campus Pato Branco structure, it was possible to find pathologies of different levels of deterioration and different repair needs. For the execution of this project, the solution found to discover and locate the pathologies were on-site visits at the university, to visualize them, determine their causes and how they affect the structure. The pathologies were ranked through the mathematical GUT Method, which quantifies the structure according to its severity, the urgency of repair and it’s tendency to get worse. It was possible to verify that the most affected structure was B block. With these results it was possible to create a specific Maintenance Manual for the structure, in which it was suggested how to correct each of the main pathologies and how to keep the structure in good work conditions. |
