Along with population growth and the development of cities, it is necessary to improve or implement urban infrastructure in order to meet the demands of the population. The lack of sewage systems is an ongoing problem, as waste, when not properly disposed of or treated, has consequences for human health. Based on this principle, the municipality of Rio Bonito de Iguaçu-PR faces problems because it does not have a wastewater system and does not properly dispose of the generated sewage. The objective of this work was to pre-dimension a sanitary sewage system for a sub-basin in the municipality of Rio Bonito do Iguaçu-PR. Knowing that public agencies do not have a topographical survey of the area, it was necessary to carry out a previous study using digital elevation models, using satellite images, which were processed using the QGIS software. From this, it was possible to delimit the drainage basins of the urban area, through the level curves obtained. The sewage system was dimensioned with PVC pipes, material chosen and used by SANEPAR, meeting the current norms for projects of sewage systems through spreadsheets prepared in Excel software. With the help of the AutoCAD program, the data obtained in QGIS and Excel were processed and presented in the form of a project about the street layout provided by the municipal organ. The results obtained for most of the stretches were pipes with a diameter of 150mm, minimum diameter, the slope adopted, except in two cases, was the slope of the land. All dimensioned stretches obeyed the criteria for checking water depth, tensile stress and maximum speed. The results of the work demonstrate the importance of the collection network for human well-being and the advantages of PVC for hydraulic dimensioning, paying attention to the use of the slope of the land for greater economy and efficiency in the implementation of the system |
