Digital transformation and modernization are imperative for the construction industry in addressing productivity and environmental impact paradigms. The implementation of a digital transformation process aligned with BIM and trend technologies can bring efficiency gains. This research aimed to build an action-oriented digital transformation framework based on the construction of a theoretical framework for BIM, the concept of digital transformation and conceptual frameworks proposed in the literature. As a result, a framewok was developed that established a phased implementation process, facilitating the execution of a successful digital transformation. The research also indicates that due to the low level of digitization in the sector, companies that invest in a digital strategy will have a potential competitive advantage. |
