Acoustic comfort is a key factor when looking for a home, as it significantly affects the quality of life of human beings. It is extremely uncomfortable to be in an environment where there are undesirable sounds, in this sense, sound insulation has become an essential requirement in buildings. This paper introduces a façade acoustic performance case study of a building that is inserted on Casa Verde e Amarela Program and seeks to contribute to the discussion about acoustic comfort. Actually, a very important theme when it comes to dwelling, due to large urban expansions and the buildings verticalization process, approuch significantly housing units, makingmore evident the noise produced by neighbors. To make this possible, measurements were carried out in the field, in order to obtain the necessary parameters to calculate the sound insulation of the external vertical sealing system. The measurements were guided by NBR ISO 16823-3:2021, as well as the calculations used standards in the current Brazilian literature. With the help of measuring equipment, that made possible to collect data and subsequently analyze them with appropriate software. It was thus verified that the element analyzed in this study met the minimum performance requirements of the NBR 15575-4:2021 standard for the 2nd noise class. Finally, it was concluded that to increase the quality of this research, it is proposed the elaboration of a noise map of the region, projecting the volume of traffic. |
