Resumo: Birds are present in the urban scenario, they have ecological functions of great relevance, since birds are excellent bioindicators. However, the objective of this present work is review papers to verify the geographical distribution of birds within localities within the Atlantic Forestand to verify if there are studies on the subject and what they can tell us(birds in urban scenario). After checking all the references (Google Scholar, JSTOR, Open Acess Journals, PudMed, Science Direct, Scopus, SciELO e Web of Science) obtained by the databases, we found 67 papers and 124 locations in 47 municipalities in 11 states. We found a total of nine different objectives, with species list being the most contemplated objective, that is, the characterization of the local avifauna. The results affirm the importance of green areas in urban environments, since they are paramount for the presence of several species and, consequently, for humans. This is because the presence of higher species richness wasassociated with arborization, the presence of bodies of water and reduced noise, conditions associated with human well-being.The results that indicate the presence of higher values of species richness was associated with afforestation, water bodies and noise, conditions associated with human well-being and the importance of green areas in urban environments, since these are fundamental for the presence of different species and, consequently, to humans. The Urban Birds of the Atlantic Forest 67 are not designed for studies of the Atlantic Forest, since they are designed for: Terrestrial Life and Sustainable Cities and Communities, which fit the thematic theme of the studies in an equitable way in the 67 businesses. In the total of all articles 395 species of birds were found.
