Resumo: This work has as its main objective to study linguisticdiscursive phenomena related to the existing voices in a text that thematizes racism, as it is a concept of extreme social relevance, revealing social and geographic disparities, which is still unkown to many; it needs, for this reason, be more widespread. To develop this work, we based on some theoretical assumptions, such as bakhtinian dialogism (BAKHTIN, 2009, 2011), reported speech (MAINGUENEAU, 2001), among others. In relation to the theme of the text analyzed, institucional, individual and structural racism will be addressed, including, also, the environmental one (ALMEIDA, 2019), which is little known in society. With regard to the text to be analyzed, we have selected an opinion article that thematizes racism, especially the environmetal, which is the main focus of this work. With regard to methodology, this is an interpretative research in which we start from the dialogical analysis of language (BAKTHIN, 2009, 2011). In this sense, we seek to describe the context of production of this text, bring up the discursive topics of its paragraphs and identify explicit voices from selected quotation marks. Thus, we investigated the forms of reported discourse (DR) of these utterances, demarcated the dialogic relationships established by them, their syntactic functions and interpreted their meanings. Different social voices and signs, raising different themes, were analyzed, proving complaints about environmental racism in the text, among other facts of society, full of value judgments and ideologies. We identified established dialogical relationships regarding the social and ideological struggle between entities and people for and against the preservation of the Amazon, between dictators and victims of censorship, between profreedom, independence and their opponents and between oppressors and oppressed in the context of colonial and racial violence. This research can contribute, therefore, to the development of teaching materials that address the theme in evidence, following the recommendations of the BNCC (BRASIL, 2018) by promoting human rights education and critical environmental education.
