Over the years, the high technological demand forced the market adapt to increasingly automated processes, generating a growing demand for inputs from programming and engineering. In this work, an API (Application Programming Interface) was implemented using the Python programming language to solve mathematical models involving the chemical engineering, making possible the implementation of these models in several other ways. For the development of the work, multicomponent mass balance models and roots finding for cubic equation of state using Cardano-Tartaglia were used as a way of exemplifying models that can be used in the API. This work also proposed the development of an Android application to simulate a application using the API. The results of this present work were positive, demonstrating that the resolution of these models through API brought agility and possibilities to several areas involved in chemical engineering. |
