The CNC Router machines provide versatility and quality in obtaining prototypes and products. For the development of these machines, free hardware platforms are generally used, such as Arduino. Therefore, this work aims to design, build, and test a lowcost CNC Router machine, so that with the described information and concepts, it is possible to build a complete machine that meets the desired expectations, executing operations compatible with similar systems. Through an exploratory research and adapting to a product development methodology, the first phase aims to establish the machine requirements, followed by a conceptual analysis and ending with the detailed project and an overview of the machine. Practical tests revealed a need for improvement of the machine in order to correct small imperfections that are affecting the quality of the produced parts. The completion of this project presented some challenges, so there are still many advancements in improvements and fields of study to be explored. As a result, this process provided a valuable opportunity for the development of technical and creative skills, in addition to contributing to a more skilled and competitive education for the job market. |
