Resumo: Water is one of the most important resources for life on our planet. Inadequate management and unsustainable use contribute to the scarcity of this resource in Brazil and in the world. Some factors are caused by humans such as water wastage, increased consumption due to population growth, industry and agriculture. Others due to natural factors such as the heat waves that happen in China, currently (2022), or the lack of rains that the southern region of Brazil suffered in 2020. This work aims to create a system, through telecommunication, to monitor water consumption.
