Resumo: Cities play a key role in the development of society, which is directly related to its sustainability. People with disabilities need accessibility for the exercise of their daily activities, in addition to having this right provided by law. Thus, it is necessary to consider whether accessibility conditions provide for the free mobility of persons with disabilities and their participation in society, and if actions for pedestrian prioritization, such as traffic calming, provide for the specificities of this public. The objective of this dissertation is to develop a case study in the Calm Area of Curitiba, evaluating the actions of prioritization of cases implanted with the condition of accessibility, to promote a social participation of the disabled pediatrician. Through a case study, the documents were essential, the interviews with the municipal power were made and the field research was carried out with the help of a form application to collect the information regarding the perception of people with disabilities as to the improvement in their condition of mobility and accessibility with the implementation of the Calm Area. The results were compared with the implementation of traffic solutions enhanced by the use of impact data processing systems with architectural accessibility, and that building a sustainable, green-mobility city that provides for the participation of people with disabilities is a political decision.
