Resumo: Throughout the history of humanity, innumerable have been the transformations that occurred. The knowledge the human being and the organizations own are their real competitive differential. The management of knowledge and its practice are in evidence in the enterprise environment, however the age of knowledge we have been living is not the reality in practice for a high number of companies. To these ones, the management of quality, basically according to standards established by the series of ISO 9000 rules, is an alternative to improve their organizational standards of performance. The theme of this research is the Management of Knowledge associated with the Management of Quality and the general objective was evaluating the contribution of the Management of Quality for sharing information and knowledge in an innovative industrial environment. For all this, the interface between the elements of quality management and knowledge management were identified, the elements of the management of quality that favor information and knowledge sharing, the practices of knowledge management, and also the process of innovation and its relation with the management of quality as characterized. This research was developed through a study of case in the company Cristófoli Equipamentos de Biossegurança Ltda, located in Campo Mourão - PR. Currently, Cristófoli is the sale leader in Brazil and Latin America of autoclave tables, also commercializing its products in diverse countries of the world, recognized as a highly innovative company. As methodological procedures we have used: research in files and documents, non-participant observations and also interviews with five members from the Research and Development team of the company. Throughout this research, we observed the existence of a strong linking between the management of quality and the management of knowledge, identified in the interface points, as well as the evidence that the Management of Quality contributes for sharing information and knowledge in the organizational environment. It was evident that, even an organization that does not have the formal Management of Knowledge, may practice it daily. The consolidated practices are those ones related to the Management of Quality, and considering the 18 practices aready studied, two were not detected: Corporative Portals and Practice Communities; four were consolidated and the other ones were found in informal ways. Finally, the process of innovation in the company and its relation with the Management of Quality was also characterized.
