This select aims to select dimensions to assess organizational climate in environments of industrial maintenance, justified by the importance currently credited to the maintenance function in industrial organizations, and the shortage of jobs that address the human factor in that function. To achieve the proposed objective used the Content Analysis through the characterization of the maintenance and examination of models and proposals for assessment of organizational climate. Together the characterization of maintenance was extracted function specificities of selected articles and then ranked in the categories: goals, integration of action policy; approaches and techniques; spare parts management; information management; financial aspects; human aspects; and, physical framework. The examination of models and proposals for assessment of organizational climate led to the extraction 118 dimensions used for this evaluation and its subsequent classification in 34 categories. The 8 categories of maintenance and specificities and the 10 categories of dimensions of organizational climate were submitted to the Analytic Hierarchy Process to verify the relevance of the categories of dimensions in relation to maintenance specificities. It concluded that the proper dimensions for assessment of organizational climate in environments of industrial maintenance are: goals, integration and work organization, work conditions; autonomy; professional development; interpersonal relationships; and, rewards and benefits. Also contributed to note that despite the strategic importance given to the maintenance function is not accompanied by practical activities that lead to their development, causing changes in the organizational climate in the maintenance departments. |
