Resumo: Currently, the goal of art museums rather than providing an environment for the aesthetic appreciation of the pieces or the celebration of characters, is to provide a critical reflection on their visitors. However, the information needed to position itself before the questions posed by contemporary art is not provided by school education, which leads to reactions such as "is this art?" or "what does this mean?". This project aims to understand, through a case study, how the planning and the realization of mediated visits focused on exchanges of information in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Paraná. As results, we identified points that allow to expand the access to this information. By understanding how these exchanges of information occur, it will be possible to think of mediation programs that encourage dialogue between visitors and art. With this intensified relationship, we expect the development of critical thinking of visitors will be strengthened.
