Resumo: The news content transmitted by the communication conglomerates, through analogical or digital media has its production and reproduction based on practice sets assigned to the journalism since its beginnings. Its ethos is evidenced by a standard, grounded on a series of precepts and concepts. Even so, the techniques of elaboration on the field keep up with the changes in temporal and spatial perspectives over the time, following the requirements originated from the social transformations. The improvement/enhancement in the way of doing the journalism is conditioned for the impact over the organization on society, culture, politics, economy and technology. Thus, the technical and pragmatics changes reflect as much as in the form and content, as in the way the activity is practiced, in Brazil or in the world. Those practical relations as nodal point of human selfproduction are evidenced on the creation of new forms of expression. Facing the technological (r)evolution, for example, the audiovisual production is highlighted: provoking changes in relation to language and aesthetics conception in this scope, promotes ruptures on the current standards. In this, the present work aims the elucidation on this modification, analyzing the generative path of meaning express in two videos produced by the midialivrista collective of resistance, Mídia NINJA, both dealing the prison of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, on April 07th, 2018. According to the analytical framework supported by Hegel(1992), Bourdieu (2007), Genro Filho (2012), Charaudeau (2015), Barthes (1990) e Pêcheux (1997), we point out the aesthetic elements present in the available images on such object, promoting the distinction as regards the symbolic meaning of the messages conveyed by the images, on detriment of hegemonic journalism standard. From this, the tension between the symbolic power thesis and the aesthetic elements of discourse, show up the aesthetic-symbolism of contemporary journalism: this dynamic surpasses the standard imposed by the journalistic sphere by the aesthetic standard, which responds to the adjustment between content and form, used in the NINJA production.
