Sustainable development has emerged to meet the needs of the present without compromising future generations. Sustainability in construction seeks results that integrate with the environment without depleting natural resources, preserving future generations and including solutions for more economical buildings and social welfare. The aim of this study is to propose a methodology for assessing the sustainable management performance of buildings in use and operation phase based on AQUA-HQE ™ certification, including its 14 categories at the base level, using the Green Office of Technological University Federal do Paraná, in Curitiba campus, as a case study. The EV was built on sustainability concepts to develop and implement programs that reduce the environmental impact of teaching and research activities. The AQUA-HQE™ Framework for buildings in operation is divided into Part I, II and III. Part III was described and analyzed in the present study. After a preliminary analysis of the EV's ability to meet the requirements of the AQUA-HQE™ framework, it was possible to propose a monitoring methodology for each category so that the person responsible for the use and operation of the building has a step-by-step approach to the requirements to be met. accompanied at the EV. This methodology consists mostly of the elaboration of forms listing the appropriate items that should be controlled and checked within each category. The elaboration of contracts, reports, notebooks, inventories, protocols and maintenance programs are also part of the proposed methodology. The present study concluded that the proposed methodology can be followed up by all categories so that there is sustainable management in the Green Office. |
