Resumo: To think about work would be to understand that it has been undergoing changes in relation to worker achievements. From the period of the Industrial Revolution, in which the worker obtained his victories in relation to the working conditions, the emergence of the unions, in which he fought for decent working conditions, being a spokesman for the employees, until the 21st century, a period that should be focused on the complete satisfaction of the worker in his work environment, since the struggle for quality of life at work has never been só high. Organizations today care about the level of worker satisfaction. This is why lectures and training, primers on subjects such as motivation, how to control stress, avoid conflicts at work have been reinforced. Despite this concern, the suffering of the worker and the mental violence towards him comes to the surface, along with bullying, and this is a subject discussed and faced in organizations, including public ones, on which this dissertation was based, being the civil servant. Curitiba, which acts as a nurse or nursing technician, the research subjects. Because it is considered a taboo subject, as often occurs a veiled suffering on the part of the working subject, and still not being considered law, having only projects, is that this dissertation was performed. It aims to analyze the meaning of work for municipal civil servants, nurses and nursing technicians, who are in situations or who experienced bullying in their work environment, from 2013 to 2018. This dissertation has a qualitative nature, whose methodology was performed the systematic review, through the Pro Know-C tool, in order to obtain the bibliographic management, aimed at the authors who dealt with the subject in question. The data analysis method was the constructive-interpretative method, based on González Rey’s method, focused on a dialogical process between the researcher and the researched. Documentary research and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 8 servants, 4 nursing technicians and 4 nurses, who judicialized bullying during this period, in order to obtain the reports of these municipal civil servants, in which the interpretation was performed. Of data, based on González Rey, in the constructive interpretative method, in order to achieve the objectives proposed in this dissertation. The results found were that there were changes in the sense of work for these interviewees, and before the bullying there was a sense of pleasure, having motivation to perform the function, and after the embarrassing episode, suffering, along with a more focused goal. Financial rather than achievable, in view of serving the community, as many no longer see the sense of being nurses and technicians, even thinking of leaving the health unit in which they work.
