The Standard Penetration Test is extremely important to identify the characteristics of the subsoil. This implies the knowledge of the subsurface exploration and sampling along its course. For these data can be considered as a faithful portrait of the natural conditions of the soil, it is necessary for prospecting services are developed by highly qualified personnel, accompanied by a technician and a geologist or geotechnical engineer. Their results can be used in various areas such as mining engineering, geology, mineralogy, pedology, but civil engineering is that this method is more widespread. The work has as objective to study the application of ISO 6484-01 on the soil surveys for simple recognition of the method employed standard penetration test (SPT), performing for both, an exploratory study in which a questionnaire was applied on characteristics and methods executives SPT survey of construction companies in the region of Campo Mourão-PR, located in the northwest of Paraná. |
