Logistics in construction is a management process which consists in the use of new techniques and methods whose main purposes are the reductions of expenses and of wastes in the building sites, and in the optimization and more agility in the construction processes. Due to several factors like lack of physical space and lack of knowledge about efficient logistics methods, in many buildings, such methods haven’t been set up. According to the precepts of logistics thematic, this work intends to study a building site in the city of Campo Mourão, in the state of Paraná. It was considered the topics of NR18 which determine the organization, storage, cleaning, handling and transportation of material. It was used the methodology developed by Saurin and Formoso (2006) in order to evaluate the referred building site. The score was 3.3 points, it was realized that occupational safety was the most deficient item. Thus, it allowed us to verify logistic deficiencies inside the building site, as well as a suggestive analysis for improvement in order to avoid wastes and a better placement of materials to be used and to be thrown away. |
