With the improvement of medicine, the development of drugs and the very awareness of people with regard to quality of life and longevity, people are living longer. You can obervar that each generation life expectancy increases a little more. However, longevity brings with it some setbacks, since older people are more likely to suffer falls if crash-and thereby fracturing their musculoskeletal system. Another situation that is observed today is the concern of the authorities to the people who have some kind of special need, so the engineering integrates with the social to promote accessibility and mobility of individuals in need. This study addresses the importance of designing a spindle used in a platform lift residential accessibility. In the methodological approach sought and in the literature recommended for the design of this zone and by calculating memorial was possible to perform the analysis of the design. In this way it was possible to ascertain the effectiveness of the system and suggest the adequate values for the screen design. |
