The impacts generated in the environment have grown in recent times and the search for new environmentally friendly technologies are considered indispensable. The textile industry, responsible for a considerable amount of waste generated, has sought alternatives for recycling and reuse, in order to minimize impacts to the ecosystem. In this context, the manufacturing sector, being a great generator of waste, shows promise in the development of sustainable actions, aiming at the reuse of the cutting residues to obtain decoration products. Given this, the present work aims the development of composite material, reaffirming the fabric scraps of the garment industry as reinforcement and synthetic resin as matrix, being an epoxy and polyester. Two materials were selected, one with each type of resin, in which layers of residue and resin were made for the use of a rectangular plate, using a mold. The result of the compound was possible to observe the possibility of application in the most diverse areas. |
