This study aims to develop a collection of women's social costumes for party, aimed at females who are invited to events, which translate the aesthetic values and status that the segment demands. These costumes must comprise the differential proposal of the versatility inserted in the parts that make it possible to use with other garment structures, and thus can subsequently be reused on other occasions and even less formal. The study part of the principle that such women care much about the appearance, especially when it comes to the participation of events in which there is great expectation and the exposure is much greater; but they feel uncomfortable as there is a need to invest in eventual costumes since they will be of little utility after the occasion. This data was obtained through a research initially for observation Research and, after, applied an objective questionnaire, which according to the results define the targeting market. Na atualidade, a maioria das mulheres costuma sentir dificuldade em investir na compra do traje social para um evento específico, pois além do alto custo, são roupas que possuem elementos estéticos atribuídos a ela, e acabam se tornando “inúteis” após o evento, por serem marcantes e de pouco uso. Este estudo tem por objetivo desenvolver uma coleção de trajes sociais femininos para festa, destinado a mulheres que são convidadas a eventos, que traduzam os valores estéticos e o status que o segmento exige. Estes trajes devem compor a proposta diferencial da versatilidade inserida nas peças que viabilizam o uso com outras estruturas do vestuário e, assim possam posteriormente como opção, ser reutilizadas em outras ocasiões e até mesmo menos formais. O estudo parte do princípio de que tais mulheres se preocupam muito com a aparência, principalmente quando se trata da participação de eventos em que há grande expectativa e a exposição é muito maior; mas se sentem desconfortáveis quanto há necessidade de investir em trajes eventuais já que serão de pouca utilidade após a ocasião.
