Resumo: This paper analyzes the phenomenon of fashion disruptions arising from the attempt to break its cyclical nature. Part on the premise that fashion is a systemic science, and as such, must be addressed by a multilateral vision by bundling and correlation of various concepts, to then try to understand it and therefore deconstructing it. For both the first actors understand fashion as a central phenomenon of modern society, taking into account the Complexity Theory, the french thinker Edgar Morin. Thus, the work explore of the origins and pillars of this phenomenon and points are two primary features: the search for the new and the change characteristics of modernity. Second, we propose a disruption in the cyclical nature of the above characteristics derived through movements like the Belgian phenomenon and the Japanese phenomenon, arising in the 80s. This rupture occurs from questioning some areas, such as art, design, aesthetics and consumption. From the literature and iconographic study of the collections of major designers belonging to these schools, we can materialize this break and infer the direction of fashion in contemporary society.
