This work presents detailed guidelines related to the assembly stages of the equipment destined to the realization of triaxial compression tests in soil of the Humboldt brand, acquired by the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Campo Mourão Campus. The assembly of this equipment aims to verify the functionality of its different components, as well as the suitability of the facilities available in the laboratory for the installation of the same in the future. Once installed, the equipment will provide the development of scientific research in the area of Geotechnical Engineering, in order to allow the determination/estimation of resistance parameters of the different soils of the region, in addition to possible related services rendering. In this work, the necessary characteristics that the place must have for the proper installation of the equipment are also described. In addition, the auxiliary components for the operation are described, as well as a series of requirements based on the product manuals. Preliminary tests were performed in order to verify the different functionalities of the equipment. The results of these tests suggest that the equipment will soon be able to perform triaxial tests on soil. |
