In order to solve the problems of housing in the country, especially for low-income population, in recent years there has been great financial incentive of the government and creation of programs for the construction of popular housing. Due to this the construction industry is in full development and the companies that have worked to build these types of housing are increasingly behind faster and more efficient construction methods. In this context, light steel frame construction, as well as the construction of wood, Wood frame, techniques already widely used in developed countries and with a potential national growth. This work presents a budget comparison between conventional masonry, Light Steel Frame and Wood Frame for the construction of a popular housing model built in a housing complex in the city, with the objective of discovering which method is most economically feasible for the execution of the project. |
