The importance of making environments accessible to everyone has had considerable relevance in several areas, including in civil construction, in regards to a building with no barriers to people with special needs. With this relevance some laws and decrees arose demanding the obligatory of the theme in public buildings, as in this case the Federal Technological University of Paraná - Campus Campo Mourão, and consequently a normalization for the adaptation of these buildings. The aim of this study was to conduct a survey of the real situation at the campus in regards to its accessibility, and then perform a mapping and diagnosis, which from those were made some suggestions of improvements and corrections. It were carried out a research with campus's users that had or have some kind of special need, in addition, a simulation of physical disabilities at the campus, a photographic survey and an application of a checklist based on the indications of NBR 9050/2004. Based on surveys conducted and the developed criteria, a classification of environments in regards their accessibility was performed, and finally it was produced a map with the current situation at the campus. By the end of the research, it was held an elaboration of suggestions of corrections and improvements on the accessibility for the campus. |
